Default i need some advice

I am a female who is new to the whole import scene when it comes to engines. I need to buy a new motor for my car because I threw a rod. . I don't have tons of money for some turboed engine. I found a JDM Honda Civic engine ZC DOHC 88-91 for 700. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this would work for my 90 integra. As I said I am new at this. Plus someone told me that my computers might not work together. I was using the stock engine before it spat metal. Can anyone tell me what to do, I would really appreciate it.

you dont want a ZC...700 is alot for it too....just find a stock LS longblock...its alot cheaper...and has more power than those stupid ZC motors...use all you old stuff...ecu, tranny, dis, etc, etc.....less hassle...you could probably find one anywhere from 100 bucks to about 500 at the most for a B18A...90 to 95...or 300..to about 700 for a B18B...96 to 2000...depending on where you look and who you know...

i agree. you can find a newer ls motor for that price.

just to clarify, b18a was 90-93, b18b was 94-00
