ok i have a 91 si hatch. before i got the car it was stolen. i noticed that the black plastic covers on the ignition consol were off. anyways im having an ignition coil problem. the coil keeps exploding. i have changed dizzys, plugs, wires, coil. so far nuthing is workin. my coils keep blowin after like a month after installation. so i was going to rip out my entire harness, but i remember that the ignition was tamperd with.

my question would be, could be causing arc inside the dizzy. because my coil is destroying itself. weird. idk. sux HELP plz any1.

doesnt hurt to try and replace it

 

im gonna do that but i still dont wanna end up with another blown dizzy
