Default brake and turn signals not working

I know I have seen this topic before, but I have been unable to find any information. Any ideas, or could you direct me to a thread that covers this? I have searched, but not found anything helpful.

This isn't my car but from what I can gather he has had someone install a radio recently. This is probably when this happened. Any ideas what to check, he says all fuses are okay.

I would double check the fuses either way. they tend to not look blown when in fact they are. Also make sure the radio is installed properly. This happened to a friend of mine and it was a fuse that was blown during the installation. a live wire touched the ground and blew the fuse.

Check the wiring, I bet the guy wired the stereo wrong causing the fuse for your brakes to pop each time.
