Default 94 integra has rear positive camber...fix it with a camber kit???

hey everyone, i just picked up a four door integra and got my alignment done at sears. i have hr race spring all the way around, but to my surprise, the left rear tire actually has positive camber unlike the rest of the car which has negative camber.

My question is: can i buy a kteller camber kit that adjusts +5 degrees and -5 degrees to bring my alignment back to spec??? i need to fix this soon because i do not want to have to replace tires. a 95 dollar fix is okay with me, as long as it works.

what do yall think????

Herro, sounds like you might have a bigger problem than camber. Get the Sears guys to have a look underneath and see if any of your suspension bits are bent. When you see negative camber at 3 corners and positive at another, using a matching set of springs, a red flag should instantly pop up in your head (and the Sears techs... maybe... I give them too much credit).

I just replied in your other post (no reason to make two), and I'm guessing you have something bent back there to have toe off and pos camber.

check to see if you have a bent rear trailing arm or a bent lower control arm

If your car has positive camber, you should have all the suspension arms looked at by a professional (or someone who knows what to look for). This can only be causeb by a bent arm somwere. A camber kit will only be a band-aid (if it works at all) for a much larger problem. Chances are, once you fix the camber with a camber kit, you won't be able to get the toe back into spec anyways.

The first thing I would check out was the LCAs. Remove both left & right ones & compare them side by side. You should be able to tell pretty easily if they are different from eachother. If they are even slightly off, replace the one from your "positive-camber" side. If they are not off, you gonna have to check other areas of the suspension.

When arms get bent, they become geometrically shorter. Since they do not stretch out, this should rule out the UCA as the culprit...
