have any of you guys seen the new tein street spec i wonder if they still have the rust problem

 

All teins have that same problem. Just spray them down with WD40 or antisieze the threads.

 

NOT true, not all Tein have the problem, I think they fixed that problem on their new Type FLEX, and they don't have that problem with the RA and higher models!!

 

Only Tein's lower models like the HA, HR, and SS have rust problems cuz the body is made of steel. The SS shares the same damper with the HA, so it will have whatever issues the HA's had. Tein has numerous other models that most ppl aren't familiar with like RA, RE, RS, N1 that are all fully aluminum bodied for lightweight and rust resistance.
