Default AN R header or the Toda

I ask because i want the community to help me decide which you think it may suite my application. I have a 99'jdm R motor in my Ek hatch, i got gyped like a mother so now i have a gsr header. Im trying to make a decision from you guys before i blow a 1g header. I'm having a debate wiht myself spending over 500 bucks on headers. 300bucks a weeks paycheck daym boy it better be worth it. All it is a got daym pipe. all it matters is keeping the pipe clean inside out. but daym, i have the gsr header two piece. well any input you guys would help. An R header or a toda. custom made mild steel 4-1 i think it was 421 also? vs. a off the shelf w 421 header.

my car diagonostic
the engine is stock. test pipe and a apex ws exhaust.
I currently building a gxxer itb.
external cap w/ngk sparkplug wires.
i plan on getting one of these header and a hondata s2 or s3. i have a p72 and the ride feels a bit sluggish idles at 2000rpm.runs rich, not up to par.

what you think? any info would be happily appreciated thanks again

Are you talking about a factory ITR header, or an AN-R header?

Out of those choices, I would spend the $600 and get an AN-R, or if you've got a little more money, go with an RMF.

<-- Plans of buying an RMF narrow A.S.A.P.

I would blow a 1g header any day!

My Toda is far better than a gsr 2 piece anyday.

JDM 4-1 and be done with it. save your money. unless you intend to build the motor and want to get every last horsepower out of it. I would never spend 1G on a header and cant believe I spent so much on my Spoon 4-1.

With your motor in it's current state you will be fine with a JDM 4-1, DC Sports, etc. type header. I you plan on building it up to an N/A monster like a 2.0L or something you may want to look into a custom header like Hytech, SMSP, RMF, DTR, A-NR, etc. Don't spend unnecessary money if you don't need to.
