weird electrical problem, need help!

Default weird electrical problem, need help!

i have a 90 crx dx, i noticed yesterday that when i step on my brakes, all 3 brakelights don't light up and the seatbelt and door light flash on the dashboard while i'm holding the pedal down, the bulbs aren't blown, can anyone help me out on this? thanks

Bad connections somewhere. Check the harness at the rear hatch area that feeds the brake lamps. Probably got corrosion in the connectors.

check your fuses.. does your horn work? if not you blew the fuse then you have to worry bout the harness having a short somewhere goodluck

the harness pulled outta the plug for the horn, is it possible that the wires touched and popped something, i noticed it a day or so ago.

i still don't see how a popped fuse will make the lights in the cluster flash when i'm on the brakes.

Well I dunno about EFs but my Prelude if the fuse is blown or the light itself is blown the brake light comes on in the dash. And if it's low on brake fluid, same situation. I dunno.

yes first fix that harness for the horn and replace the fuse for horn/brake good to go
