Default lower timingbelt cover...

i was changeing my timing belt and in the process of taking the crank pully off i kinda cracked and dented my TB cover. do you think it'll be straight to put back on or will i need a new one. and if i need a new one would anyone happen to habe a ZC TB cover laying around? haha

yea i used a socket extension to keep the pully from turning, and it broke and the crank spun free and yea it was a bitch

dude I did the exact same thing. expletive mine is worse then yours. I didnt even put it on, whatever I dont even drive the car in the rain or snow. But if I were to do it again I would get a new cover just incase some rain starts falling when I am out and I gotta get some where!

The risk of not having one is greater then the benfit of leaving it off.

Your car will run with it off, but if I were you I would get one ASAP.
