Check engine light and ATTS light came on!!!! Please help!
Sup guys, I really need someone's help who has installed an Autometer Air/Fuel ratio guage in their 5th Gen Prelude SH. I wired the signal wire straight to the ECU to the Solid white wire on the furthest right plug. Problems I am experiencing are ATTS and Check Engine light, also the Air/Fuel guage is showing an extremely LEAN reading!!! I taped up the signal wire very well and its all sealed up. Ground is good because I used the same ground that I used for my JDM fogs. Also the power source is coming straight from the fuse box. Even if the power and ground isn't good that wouldn't trip the CEL and ATTS light. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be and how would I go about fixing it? Thanks for any info
Which O2 sensor did you hook it up to. primary or secondary. by what you said, sounds like you hook it up to the secondary O2 sensor which is after the Cat. OBD II is really sensitive, what you should do is weld an O2 bung on your exhaust pipe A after the flexsible pipe. so that you run a separate 3 wire O2 sensor and not tap anything to your ECU system. try this web site they sell the parts here. http://www.racetep.com or JEGS or Summit Racing
I tapped it into the all white wire thats coming out of the ECU which is for the Primary I believe. Could it be because I cut the O2 wire and twisted it back together but including the Signal wire from the Autometer guage? Should I take the signal wire off and just try putting everything back to the way it was? I am freaking out here, any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks a lot for your help Qfactor
