noobie with some ideas...need help!
hey what up guys! ive been reading these s2000 threads and im finally posting in one. the s2000 has been my dream car that i can possibly afford now. my dream car is an nsx but anyways i wanted to ask a few questions. is yellow a rare color to see in the s2000? ive been debating what color to go with and its either yellow, black or white. possibly not going white because my current car is white. (96 honda prelude) possibly not going black because its too common. so possibly yellow. what kind of wheels do people put on s2ks? i want some wheels to match the yellow so im kinda looking in to that. what i really want are the spoon wheels but what size do those come in? also i have a question about the suspension on the s2k. i want to lower it a bit but i also dont want to mess up the perfect suspension they have on there! whats the best way to lower it or should i just leave it like that? thanks alot people
^^^ Says the guy that consistantly posts false or generic information.
To answer your questions...
- No, yellow is not rare...i actually see more yellow S2000's than red, but i think it varies by area. I'd say the color you're most likely to see most are the silvers and the suzuka blue...
- Spoon wheels (real ones) will cost you a fortune, and given your post, im guessing your going for cosmetically appealing rims, which the spoon rims are not, given they are limited to sizes optimal for PERFORMANCE, and not cosmetic appeal.
- Suspension suggestions just really depend on how much you have to spend, how LOW you want to go and how much performance you're looking for (how much ride quality you're willing to sacrifice when installing a performance suspension).
...truely, given you dont have one yet, i would say buy one first before you overwhelm yourself with these kind of thoughts...most of the time people tend to buy them and find themselves totally satisfied with the car bone stock...others like to go all out...you should start asking yourself these things AFTER you get the car.
