Death by freezing temps?
Hey guys, i went to start my car this morning and all i got was a clicking noise. I though t it was out of gas so i put an extra gallon in to see if that would fix anything (didnt help). The tempature is below 20 here, feels like much less. Im wondering if i have a frozen gasline or something. Any diagnosis help would be apreciated.
battery. mine just clicks when its dead. try jumping it or replacing the battery. more than likely you have eough charge in it to have your lights on and even your door dinger probably works, but its not got enough in it to turn over the car. try that first. be sure to clean your battery terminals too
roll start it and pop the clutch. sometimes that works when my battery is very cold. Or you can take out the battery at night and leave it somewhere warm.
be careful jump starting a frozen battery, they can burst.

Yep. The starter is getting just enough to activate the solenoid - but not enough amperage to do anything else. It requires a lot of amps to start a car. Just try to jump it - you can jump the starter if you want.
