Looks like the Civic thought he was going to rear end the person in front of him so he slammed the brakes and yanked the wheels. Needless to say both appeared to be an over-reaction.

I gotta get that camera setup. Glad she's ok after that.. tough girl.

If you get a video camera and that bullet-cam & impact case, where do you keep the recorder part? In a backpack? and how does that bullet-cam mount to your helmet?

i would also like to know, seems like it would be good insurance in case of an accident since most of the time bikers are found guilty no matter the situation.

found this on the socal boar.

The civic driver pulled a fast and the furious move and pulled the e-brake for no reason.

Yea i was gonna say it looked like the dumbass pulled the e brake you only see smoke come from the rear what a dumbass then he was trying to say she hit him god i hate human stupidity thanks to the camera hopefully there is one less assclown on the road. That solidifies the argument to ALWAYS wear your gear

I use these Double Side Tape mounts that have zip ties to hold the camera, I keep my DVR camera in the tail with foam!

I'm sorry but that civic was not even close to rear ending that white car. That ****** def locked up the E-Brake on purpose. There's no reason why that civic would turn like that anyways. Watch the smoke come out the back tires first. The civic only has Front disc brakes, which would lock up the front tires making them smoke first, and watch how the car is being turned towards to person on the bike. What a mother ******. Who ever drove that car should be shot in the head multiple times

I'm just glad the rider is alright. I've ridden with her on the track before, and she's one cool cat.

Whatever the driver did to cause him to swerve into the rider's lane, it's good that he didn't try to book it. Too many LA drivers would do that instead of sticking around. I don't know about the "it's her fault" stance though. Must've been smoking something else besides that rear tire...

Is this the reason they say to stay in either the far left or far right lanes when on the freeway? Or is that obsolete teaching now? Looks like she didnt have an "escape route".

The far left or right still applies because there is less "gunk" that collects there.

Maybe if she was on the left side of her lane, she could have swerved to the left and avoided the Civic. Sometimes, though, **** happens.

It looks like she was boxed in pretty good and had nowhere to go.

Yeah, so keep the GDD type replies to the GDD thread. Most of the posts here were an analysis of what happened or a constructive comment.
