Default b16 chipped ecu vs. knock sensor.

ok so my b16 motor doesnt have a knock sensor and i am trying to decide on whether i should get a chipped ecu or if i should just get a knock sensor. what are the advantages and disadvantages of it either way? i may be putin a turbo in it soon too if that makes a difference.
any help would be great thanks.

I'm pretty sure your b16 has a knock sensor. Most chipped ecu's don't look for a knock sensor, so getting a chipped ecu wouldn't help.

From what I hear stock honda knock sensors suck anyway.

thats my point. i dont have a knock sensor. the ecu is reading for one and there isnt. that is why i would get a chipped ecu so that it wouldnt look for one. or i will just buy a knock sensor and if you read my question i was askin what would be better. to get a chipped ecu or just buy a knock sensor?

This is just my opinion, but if you know you're not knocking/detonating, just get the chipped P28. You'll probably need one in the future anyway so...

The stock knock sensor is useless anyways, get a chipped ecu
