Default My car surges?

I have a crx with a 92 ls swap and i just cleaned the throttle body and when i turn it on it it goes to like 3 grand and drops to like 15-18 grand and it doesnt stop doing it. I was told it was my Throttle position sensor but i changed that to day and it is still doing it? Can any body help me out?

wow, youre engine can really rev high.
Try your IACV. idle air control valve, either clean it or replace it.

There are 2 holes in your throttle body. One leads to the AIC and the other to the FITV(I'm guessing FITV because you said you just cleaned your TB). Get the car to operating temp and then stick your finger over the hole and see which one makes your idle level out. If plugging one of these makes your car idle normal then you know where your problem is. I think the top hole goes to the AIC and the bottom to the FITV. If neither of them do anything then it's probably a vacuum leak somewhere else. Look for missing vacuum lines or spray starter fluid in spots on your intake manifold until you hear the idle raise. That's my good deed for the month so don't ask me for any more help . Someone else can tell you how to fix it.
