what do you think of my 1.4 mile time
i have a 92 hatch with a gsr swap pretty much stock and i ran a 15.05 at 93mph you think thats a good time or should i be gettin better times?...i couldnt catch any traction in 1st so id jsut throw it into 2nd at about 8g
whats your 60ft time? it should be in the range of 2.1-2.2 sec. I think that time is too high.....Ive done 14.8-9's with my basic bolt on integra gsr.....track condition, weather, proper driver, tires....etc... all plays a role......

you dont think i know this i have noooo traction at all..my first run was a 15.7 and that was when i waited to catch traction in first then shift into 2nd...my 2nd run i jsut waited till i got to 8g in 1st then just through it into 2nd
i ran a 14.2 in my 92 gsr hatch. all i had at the time was exhaust and intake and some weight stripped out of the interior (seats, etc..) i had no slicks or drag radials either and even had stock clutch. i did a huge burnout (the whole car filled up with smoke) after rolling through the water box (i had normal radials with the air at 10psi). i launched low around 2,500 and had traction in 1st because i eased out the clutch. hope this helps.
alright i went back yesterday and i let the air outa my tires and i ran a 14.5...im gonna wait till it warms up so the track will be a lil more sticky next time i go...but im happy with a 14.5 on a stock gsr hatch
launch low like around 2.5-4 grand or so. and don't dump tha clutch. kinda feather it or let it slip as you floor it so you don't bog out
how i roll

Good thread on launching and stuff, but yea your times could be better with practice.

Umm you do realize with street tires you shouldn't be going through the water pit nor doing a big burnout. You go around it and do a small little thing to loose any rocks or anything stuck to the tires. Doing a full out burnout with street tires will make rocks and dirt stick to them hurting your traction.
