Default Which Setup For a 92-95 Civic H/B?? GS-R or H22A??

Which setup would be better to go with in a 92-95 Civic H/B, a JDM GSR with Turbo or an H22A with a Turbo? Which do you think you can get more out of?

The H22 will throw off your F/R balance.

i think the gsr will make the most power but the b20 will make the most torque and it will be right behind the gsr in terms of power.

I'd go for the B16 CTR motor....yummy. Direct bolt on boner.

Or he could spend about 2-3 grand less and bolt in a USDM GS-R engine, and lose maybe 15 flywheel hp, which he could make up with an AEM CAI and exhaust. And have some money left for the Type R 5-lug suspension (about 2 grand for a package including very nice Type R wheels and tires). Then he can go fast straight and through the turns. Also, the B18C has about the same torque as the smaller B16B CTR motor. I would say USDM GS-R or B18B LS engine because its cheap, and has the most parts available. The B18B's higher displacement (1835cc's vs the B18C's 1797cc's) gives it an advantage for turbos, as does the lower compression ratio. Also, as said before the H22 or H23 will throw off your weight balance, not to mention, you would have problems fitting turbos and stuch in the engine bay. The H series block is a tight fit in any Civic chassis. Just my opinion. HTH.
