pulling and installing energy bushings??

Default pulling and installing energy bushings??

If i had access to a press just press down on the centre of the bushing where the metal is or do I need to lube it??? If I cant get access to a press is it possible???

I bought Robs. Tein SS and I dont want to install them until I do new front & rear LCA's

you can cut them out with a torch, but your best bet is to take to a machine shop.

Wouldnt the rubber start melting? And also I need a torch. Do i need to buy the whole welding machine or is there little tanks like those little propane tanks???

you can get a small torch for under $20 at a hardware store

i did mine w/o a torch or a hydro press.

for removal-you'll need a vise, rent a ball joint press, pb blaster, various sockets. Use the sockets to press out the old bushings.

to install-grease them up, install the poly and then the sleeve. Use a c-clamp and washers to press the bushing in.

stuff in a can that get rusty bolts off and other crap. $5 at autozone
