b20 w/ FI try that !!! vtec is nice but

you can do tht and have money to put to a standalone too.
you have the tranny and can get a b20 for 1000 w/ low miles.
oh and w/ the right fuel that engine takes 13 psi!!!!

but i have no clue what rebuilds cost so....

i miss FI!!!!!!

I think you should get the LS/VTEC. THey are great engines. Putting 13 PSI on your Honda engine isn't going to be very reliable or driveable, and probably not street legal.

im not gonna agree with that, ls/vtec is nice, but you still cant rev high because the ls does not have the oil squirters the vtec has, there are many people who run high boost on a stock block, i wouldnt, but with the right fuel manage tuning, it can be done and still very drivable

Well what are you looking for? And how much are you willing to spend? If your going for reilability then I say B18c1 or B18c5. If your going for track then H22. I'm not too sure about the ls/vtec though.

either rebuild it with stronger internals( crower rods and je pistons) so you will be prepped for boost in the future or get a gsr motor and sell youls motor cheap to a civic owner
