two questions about exhuast.
My first question is which would mkae more horsepower 4-2 or stock? And my next question is if i think the name is the o2 censor cnat rmeber it but whatever it is it scres into the exhuast, i was wondering if i remove it will it trick the computer to give it more gas, by the way this is a race car and im lookin for ever little bit of power.
You dont know much about cars do you? How can you be building a race car and think that pulling out the O2 sensor is going to give you more HP? More gas does not = more hp unless you are running lean.
Good luck on your race car!<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by zoom545 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">My first question is which would mkae more horsepower 4-2 or stock? </TD></TR></TABLE>
What in sam hell are you talking about? Running a 4-2 header with 2 diff pipes all the way back?

I believe you meant to ask if a 4-1 or a 4-2-1 header will produce more power. A 4-1 is better for racing and will produce more power. The ground clearance is not an issue for a race car.
If you can run an AFC (air fuel controller) you may be able to trick the ECU into feeding more fuel into the engine. I do not like AFCs, as they only modify the fuel at WOT by modifying the MAP signal. You still need to tune this, as more fuel does not necessarily equate to more power.
I'm glad the flamers think that they are clever.
