oil leak HELP

Default oil leak HELP

hey guys on my valve cover i have the 3 bolts in the front well one of them broke and fell out so i blew oil all over my engine bay until i can get a new one should i just put some tape over it until i can find a new one and then just add some oil?

in order:

duct tape

buy new bolt

re-tap the thread

if damage, get a helio coil kit

get some new bolts, at the meantime plug something in there.

you wont have to rethred it i did this to mine it is a long bolt that goes into the head if you need one i have a couple extras let me know i could just give you one

happened to me a week ago..one of the top long ones broke..fortunately my buddy could take out the broken piecewith nose pliers...i got a new one from honda for $9.72

dont bitch about the price, if you torque them to spec this wont ever happen

yea i wasnt bitchin about the price...and i actually did torque them to spec...about 8lbs if im correct...dunno why mine broke i guess i was careless
