internals vs. turbo!!!!!
hey, i have got a 95 teg ls, and i wondering if i should change the intearnals if i turbo it up.would i have to build the engine up? and if i did turbo it, how much HP
95 non-vtec
ractice cold air intake
apex n1 full exhast
dc headers
dropzone suspension kit(2in)

On stock internals you can run up to 10psi give or take. The key is tunning if it is tunned right you will not have any problems. It wouldnt hurt to sleeve it and do sme head work later on if you want more boost.

do a compression test to make sure the piston rings and valves are all sealing good. If you get good results.. go for it. I was making 260whp and 210 ft lbs of tq on my stock b18b when I had it.. Yea tuning is the most important part of running any turbo set up.

Well like stated aboive, you can run about 10psi safely. People use LS for boosting because of its low compression. But if you plan to run like 18psi on a stock motor, your asking for trouble.

yes, they are dependable because of there low compression...and i would consider a compression check, if your not going to build your motor. You should be okay, for 10psi...but u really cant measure in psi...it also matters about your tuning, and what size turbo you get...a big *** turbo at 10psi is different from a little greddy turbo at 10psi.i would build first, then turbo, but thats me
