I know for a fact the USDM ITR pistons on GSR block will pass emissions. Will the JDM ITR version pass emissions? How about oversized JDM ITR? Just assume nothing else is done to the motor, just ITR pistons, crank, rods, cams, valve springs.

I blow a bearing so i want to rebuild but can't decide since im in Cali

 

i dont think it will make a difference in emmissions. Just dot tell them you have jdm itr pistions

 

Ya it shouldn't have an effect on the emissions output. Theres no reason to mention the pistons or any other internal work you may have done, as they will have no idea unless you say something about it to them.

How about he oversized version? Will that raise my compression to like 11.1?
