Help!!! Problems with b16 swap in EG

Default Help!!! Problems with b16 swap in EG

ok guys I never really have a problem with swaps in my cars but we just put this one in an we crank it up an it doesn't go any where period like you put in gear let of the clutch an it sits there, we check my slave cylinder its functioning an everything, my shifter is arched back torwards the rear of the car would my linkage have anything to do with this problem, because I can still here it going into gear and everything

I assume you must have the b16 linkage???..If not you need it.

Maybe you left out the axles?........lol......j/k.

Do you know for a fact the trans is good?

Throw out bearing installed?

Just tossing things out there........Odd situation.

I thought this too.

Make sure they snap in.

Did you get the axles with the swap?

But I know that the wheels will still turn even if they are not snapped in. I have read stories about shops not making sure they were seated and the axles come out.

Maybe someone forgot to put the throwout bearing on. Ill bet my life thats what it is.

this happened to me actually, the guy didnt even put a snap ring on my new axel when he put it in. this was way back in teh day tho before i did my own work.

maybe a better question would be did u put the motor and tranny in together? or did u have the tranny off the motor then put them in?
