Default D16Y8 18psi 300hp? what turbo help me pic

just as the post says this is a 75mm D16y8 SOHC VTEC block with tuner toys rods wiseco 8.5:1's and a stock head...any suggestions of turbo in mind...i wanna make 300+whp on 18psi...also i believe i can achieve this goal with a stock head the listed above piston and rods and an adjusable cam gear...log mani, 3 inch downpipe and 680cc injectors...I was thinking maybe a T3 60-1Hifi 60 trim with a .63ar turbine and .60ar compressor, was also thinking about the 18g, T04 B S Trim or V1 V2 trim .57 trim .63 ar turbine 60 compressor...or a T04E super 50 trim .63ar turbine .60ar compressor from Turbonetics not too sure about the new stuff like Precision... m y goal is to max the 680's on Shell 93 V Power...open to suggestions

My goal with this car is to do a lil road course, a lil 1/4 mile but still be daily driven...Basically i want a nice responsive turbo probably with a max capacity of 400-425 i would like to do 11.8 or better in the quarter yet when i run low boost say 1 bar i'm maybe close to 300 but i have a nice lil fat powerband...i think any B-series guy can agree the D-blocks have better torque curves yes we don't rev as high...which brings me to my next question how high of a rev can a stock D16Y8 SOHC VTEC head support before all chaos breaks loose... then i can pick a suitable turbo

Your goals are similar to mine.

I still say SC50.

For you, probably a .63 a/r. I'm going with a .48 a/r.

Better put if i ran this setup to 8k at the 1/4 mile track and 1/4 mile track only...before doing any head work how good are my chances of bending valves or whatever other aftermath...the method to the madness is that it will take about 8000rpms to make 400 on 20-25psi and better yet will the stock cam and jus an adj cam gear 8000rpms and a sizeable be enough for that whp on that many psi of boost...

Don't run more than 7500rpm on your stock head, and you'll be fine.

Why do you need to rev to 8k?

All of the SC turbos seem to be very fond of rpms and for my hp gaols i don't believe the stock rev limiter will be enough breath to take full advantage of that .63ar...maybe i'm wrong but then again a problem with the D's is hg issues so why rev that high to begin with right?....i don't know i need help...but then again i'll also have 8.5:1 so

I thought you were running a SC61???

Are you running the .63 a/r SC50?

Good question are you runnin the .63 ar on the hot side...Any pics of the finished work RLZ performed on the block, care to share what your goals were how close you came and the setup that made that power...one last one i was considering going B-series...have you had any major issues with the new motor like head gasket problems or problems of that sort...Thanks for all the posts
