Default b20 vtec build will teg type r pistons work?

I really am having some troubles, I need to know if integra type r pistons will work in my b20 block. I have gotten both yesses and no's s please only answer if you really know, thanks

all b-series EXCEPT the B20 are 81mm

i believe B20 pistons are like 84 or 85mm

B20 are 84mm pistons and Type R pistons are 81mm. It wont fit.

thanks guys just ordered JE 11.5:1 compression pistons for the b20 should kick *** now!

whered you order those pistons from? im considering a b20 build only thing holding me back is i dont know what pistons to use or where i should get them from good luck though that'l be a fun one when shes done!

watch those b20 sleeve crack. with that compression
if they are stock.
b20 sleeves wont hold for too long..

These NPR itr pistons will fit. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1481588 Compression is not what cracks b20 blocks detonation does, if you run racing gas you can run 11.5 in a b20. Set your cr at 10.5 and it will be fine on 91. Dan

not true, they can hold decent power, they are just very sensitive to detonation. if tuned well u will be fine. i put 11k miles on a b20z bone stock block/ turbo. went 239 whp, 231 trq. sold the shortblock still runs to this day in a b20/vtec all motor

the pistons in the link posted above are apparently very good pistons. i havent used them but i saw a thread on here that prostreetimport put them in a b20/vtec that made 244whp untuned. and a b20/vtec will withstand 11.5:1 compression all day just watch out for detonation.
