Nitrous plate system for ITR?
does one of these exist?
I ask because I'm planning on swapping my GSR's head to that of an ITR and i'm interested in running a wet shot of N20. Obviously NOS makes the plate kit for the GSR but I have never seen one for you ITR and Si guys. Is there any good reason why one hasn't been designed? If there isn't, i'm thinking of heading on down to my school's machine shop and making one myself.
I know that i could use the direct port kit and tap right into the intake manifold runners, but the plate system seems so much simpler and easier to return to stock if needed. I know you ITR guys aren't big fans of nitrous, but any help you can give will definetly be appreciated.
Oh yeh, some of you might say, "Well why don't you just use the GSR head with the Skunk2 manifold and the NOS plate kit."
The reason I want the ITR head is because it already has the mild port job, the stainless valves, nicer cams and valve springs. Most of these upgrades would require me to source out the GSR head. I think in the long run that would end up taking too long and costing more than a complete ITR head.
