i just wanted to confirm my knowledge since all of you in this forum are more knowledgable than me in this...
when wiring the amp..i know you are supposed to connect the power(positive) wire first. and then connect the ground(negative) after that.
when you connect the power, im thinking the wire shouldnt be live..but i wanted to confirm this
also when connecting the ground..should it already be grounded or should i ground it after connecting to the amp
and then hooking up the rest of the wires comes in no specific order right?
thanks for the help..

n i dont have an ohm meter so how can i check that

thanks for the help..</TD></TR></TABLE> As mentioned by B18C_EJ8 it does not matter, what matters is that you have the neg. batt. term. disconnected untill all other connections have been made and checked, the last thing you should be doing is connecting the batt. neg.

When you wire VCs , [speakers] together, you can do it in parallel or series, or if more then 2, but always even numbers, VCs a combination of both parallel and series, and how they are wired will determine the the final load, [impedance] or ohms that the amp sees, and must be taken into account when wiring speakers to an amp.
