Clutch Slip?
I've noticed the past few days that there is a little bit of clutch slip before fully engaging in 1st gear (only 1st gear from full stop) when i first get in the car in the mornings (weather usually cold and damp). However, after a while, it goes away for the rest of the day and I dont notice anything.
Could the slip in the mornings be because of temperature or moisture? It's a stock clutch (not replaced to my knowledge), and I've got about 78K miles on my 2001 5th gen
Just a little paranoid because I let my friend drive my prelude the other day and he wasn't too adept at driving a manual
Thanks

you might want to go ahead and change the clutch out soon but the reason why it slips when its cold and not when its heated up is because when you heat something it expands so it may work better when warm but you can still drive fine for a while . also you only notice it in first is because it takes so much energy to get your heavy car moving and the clutch is a little to worn for that
