Well here it is, my Project Log. =D

Decided i should start one since i'll be trying to do alot of car work and stuff done to my car.

I got the car back in Spring 05' from a granny.
it had 155XXX original miles, never been modded or anything.
5speed, Stock motor, 91 crx DX, and blah blah blah.


today i had my car towed to topset up today (really cool guys)
but damn, i never notice how banged up my front fenders were untill i took the pictures.
I mean WTH,
WORKING ON MY CAR LEANING OVER THE FENDER AREA AND STUFF I GUESS MADE BIG *** DENTS

How can i fix it? Can i pop it out with a plunger or something?
As of now there isn't any rust, just big dents. Or should i just like get new fenders.

haha that's not me. that is my friend. and that hat is kinda dope, just kinda big.

 

you could probably bang that fender out and smooth it over with some filler. Otherwise, replacing that fender would cost more money...regardless, its going to need paint.

yeah that's true,but she's going to get new paint reguarless, hopefully in the middle of summer, if not end of the year.

he carged me 90 from my house to palatine, you would have charged me 45 for the tow? plus flatbed? i'll keep you in mind for when i ship out my civic to Tallkyle if our deal goes down.

yeah see, it was 90 for flatbed and about 25-30mile tow.

 

Well Here is a update.

Got my car back from the shop yesterday. Car seemed pretty fine brung a battery didnt have much juice, so me and my friend jumped it with his car. about 5 mins into the drive then i stopped at a gas station. While i was driving the car stalled and i duno why. filled her up with 18 bucks of gas and got a full tank. Car wouldn't stalled again and because of this the battary was totally drained. Guys at the Gas station said it sounded like teh alternator is bad.


Car's RPM's are low as hell.

As stated in the thread, me and my friend came up with 3 conclusions that might be wrong with the car.

1 - Alternator has gone bad
2 - The battery i had gotten is just garbage ( hasn't been used in a couple of months)
3 - A vac line or sensor must be unconnected. Or something of some sort must be messing with something.


Those 3 are probably the strongest bet that is what's wrong with the car.

So today i'm going to take the battery from my jeep and put it in the crx. start it up then play with the throttle a little. HOPEFULLY it's just that, i don't want to have to get another alternator. Costs like 100 for a new one. =/ plus the engine is like making a clinking noise. the guy at the shop said something but i fergot what he said. I'll update with some pics and a vid later.

[b]Took me 5 hours to get home from the shop, and the shop is only like 30-45 minutess away from my house.


matter of fact, the car didn't even make it to my damn housE!!! we only got like a little over half way to my house. =/

i had to leave it at a friends house over night.

SUCKS ***** BECAUSE I DIDNT GET A CHANCE TO PUT ON THE CITY STICKER, NORE MY FRONT LISENCE PLATE. GAYYYY I HOPE I DON'T GET A TICKET!!!

Well im going to get a Stock DX motor form kyle. going to get that and put it in my CRX.

for the motor that in my crx i'll take it appart and see what's up. this should all take place 2morrow around noonish.
