Default Oil leaking out if drain bolt??help

looked under my car and saw a little oil spot. It is coming from the oil drain bolt. leaking very slowly. only a few drips a day. what could cause this? how can i fix it?

edit:it is tightened all the way, and there looks to be no cracks.

everytime u do a oil change the washer should be changed, if u get it changed somewhere else they probably dont even change it.

Just go to a Honda/Acura dealer and tell them you need the washer for your oil drain bolt. They should know what you are talking about.

Yea, change the washer and see if that helps.
I had a problem once with my sohc oil pan, the inner threads to the oil pan were stripped.

5th gen ludette : You said your oil pan threads where stripped? Mine are also stripped and I had an oversize bolt put in. It still drips some out everyday but not enough to worry about. I was told I could goto Canadian Tire and get this rubber plug that can go in and as you tighten it up it expands out to fill the hole? What did you do? Anyone else have input I'd like to hear it also.

well for the time being, yea I put an oversized plug..but like you said, it would still leak. I ended up replacing the pan all together.
