Default My swap help z6 head

so im doing a minime swap in my hatc, i have the p28 ecu i have the timing belt, i still need the gaskets and wiring, but im not shure exactly what wiring it is that i need, and what i need off the solenoid and all that i need, i also dunno if my stock distributor will work with this head, because the z6 head doesnt have a distrubutor, someone please help and sumhow tell me what wiring,harnesses, etc i need to complete my swap? myabe a picture of sumthing? because knowing me i would get the wrong thing from a junk yard or not all of it... and yea i would be mad, thanks would be much appreciated

what distributor do u have? you will prob need a z6 one. if u search for vtec wiring you will find the connections u need to make , a grnd , and two wires to the ecu, not hard.get the y8 head gasket its thinner , will raise compression a lil .

stock distrubutor, ok the wires for ecu ic can figure out, but what as far as wire harness? do i need a obd conversion harness or what, if so which one because i have asked a few people and they say mines obd 2 then they say its obd 1 and im not shure which it is

If it's 92-95, it's obdI, if it's 96+, it's obdII.

hmmm ok so that means that the 96 del sol head (the one im puttin in car) is obd2 as well? so can i use the stock harness? another question, which wiring is required for the vtec, just all the ones connected to the soleniod or what?
