b20 head on ls block
umm from what i know i think there just similar unless your getting the Intake Manifold with the box chamber that comes with it, should give u a little acceleration . .

only the p8r head.
otherwise the b20 used the P75 head.

True true, same head, bolts right up

i know the newer ls cams are better than the b18a cams is it the same with the b20 cams. Are the b20 cams better or more aggressive than the newer ls cams . (i know you said it the same head as in design)
just looking for a cheap basic cam upgrade

i rember reading about a few people putting CRV cams in a LS, but i dont know cuz the CRV motor was built for low end torque and it redlines at 6500, so i would assum the cam is made for low end power and not much top end or at least past 6500
if you did use them i would assume you would gain some torque and feel faster, but i bet you would suffer some HP up high, try it and find out let us know, lol
the B20 and LS head are exactly the same, the LS and B20 blocks are the same even, the only difference is the bore 81mm vs 84mm
even the headgasket is the same believe it or not the B20 Headgasket is made for 81mm bore
the main difference is the rotating assembly and the valve train

youre wrong.
b20 heads and ls heads can be the same. with the exception of the P8R head. where the differences are 33mm intake valves JUST LIKE b-series VTEC. the combustion chambers are not all 84MM. Only on the P8R heads. the blocks are not the same, at all. the sleeves have a completely different process of being made, first of all.
the headgaskets - the b20b and b20z headgaskets are made for 84mm bores, trust me. I had to buy one when i assembled my b20b.
what's the difference in the rotating assemblies? other than the size of the pistons? the rods, cranks, oil pump, pan, pick up, front and rear main seals are the same. among other things.
