Help! Door Swap
Hi everyone. First post here and I really need some help.
My CRX has the seat belts mounted in the door. Is it possible to buy a door from an older CRX that does not have these? What would I do about using the seat belt? Or should I say, what else would I have to buy/remove from the donor car?
I searched the forum for door swap but did not have any luck.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks!!

^^^ Thats what I did. I just got doors from a CRX that didnt have door mounted seatbelts.
I was able to make the hardware to weld into the b-pillars with large bolts/washers from ACE, I just pieced it together and my friend welded it up and it worked great. I tried to chop some of the stock ones out of our 90' EX parts car but they were flimsy so we ended up making some of our own.
One thing to mention, on the driver-side b-pillar plastic, in the write-up on here it says there is a outline for the hole you have to cut in the plastic on the back, MAKE SURE before you chop the hole that it actually will line up. I trusted the writeup and just chopped the hole and it was about a inch off of where the hole was on the b-pillar, so dont be dumb like me and make sure before you cut the plastic.
