Default welding Q from a non-welder- turbine housing related

ok my turbine housing is funked. rather than get a new one, can i just have the vband flange welded onto the housing and use that rather than the 4 bolt it is currently?? this is a garrett t3/t4 57 trim turbo if it matters. this will make it easier for me and alignment, and the kit is like 40 bucks from atp..

Did that on my beater project onto a t3 xr4ti/svo turbo. Working so far and made things alot easier. This was my fix for 3 broken off bolts and cracks in the Internal WG hole.... So far so good... make sure a TON of heat is tossed at it, so you get a good weld.

yea ive got a few broken bolts in there, and my downpipe angle will currently only allow me to fit 3 bolts anyway...
