Default EF9 B16A VTEC NOT POPPING GOOD

HEY GUYS I HAVE A 91 EF9 AND I HAVE A JDM B16A MOTOR IN IT AND VTEC IS NOT WORKING PROBLY IT ONLY WORKS WHEN I PUT A HONDATA COMPUTER AND I HAVE A P 28 IN IT AND I WANTO TO KEEP IT LIKE THAT SO GUYS HELP ME OUT HERE ASAP.....

so you mean you are running your b16 with a p28 and you took out the hondata and cant figure out why vtec wont work? if so my god

most likely the vtec is set lower on the p28 than the hondata, this makes the changeover less noticeable and quieter

very good point..

also the p28 is for a D16Z so the maps are way out of wack for a B..unless its chipped for a B...

why didn't u use the stock PW0 ecu? it's supposed to come together with EF9
