I am looking to get a replacement trunk and I have a 99 Civic coupe with the black with blue pearl paint.

The ONLY trunk I can find in the state of AZ is from a 98 black civic. I see the paint code on the car is different and it doesn't have the blue pearl. Ut has the gold in it. (barely)

My question then, is the SHADE of black the same with just different pearls in it?
(96-98 gold pearl vs 99-00 blue pearl)

If it is, I'll snag it and rock it for a few months till I can get the whole car repsrayed the OEM blue pearl black.

yes they are different.. but if your going to get it sprayed anyways, who cares what color it is..

 

ok...I was just thinking maybe I should get one shipped from out of state if it matches better until I get the car painted. The paint isn't that bad.

i would prefer to avoid mismatched parts if possible and a few buck more.

 

yea they are different man i just got my bumper done went 2 get paint and honda changed their silver 4 times from 96-00
