not too bad of a way to make money. just dont let a project take too much time. and honestly, if insurance would scrap that, it would be more beneficial to you.

naw guys i work full time, I just work a few hours here and there after work or days off. Its all good. but i like body work and cars, so I will fix things as long as I have hand!
thanks some of you for your support!
(p.s. i dont make 60-80$ an hour like the body shops, making it worth while as long as the body is straight is easy!!)

Homeboy don't trip..just keep doin ya thang..all civics are worth being fixed...my civic...with 1500 worth of damage...i fixed it myself for 500 so far...all i need if my fender painted...which imma just let the whole car get re-painted and coated glossy...

IMG]http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b309/Absolutjay86/P1010070.jpg[/IMG] The night i got hit...

I used some bondo and it's now prepared for sanding...

This pic shows the alignment of the fender to the bumper..looks good to me...
I used the 500 to fix the transmission and axles...because the axles got broken in that accident a day later they completely gave out and the car wouldn't move anywhere Boom..just like that..
the moral of this story is..fix that **** yourself...give a damn what people gotta say.

yeah thats not a bad on the side hobby. I have a friend at the auto shop I work at who does that. He bought a ford bronco for 900 and sold it for 4 grand and it cost him like 800 to fix. His best so far was an older Mercedes SL450 that he got for free spent like 1000 in parts to fix the motor and sold it for 9 grand. 8 grand profit!!!.

if you bought it that way it's a good way to make money but if that's your own ride than it's not really worth fixing.
Get the insure money and buy something better
