Intake yall perfer
I have the AEM V2 and like it, somepeople will say dont buy it if you have alot of rain where you live due to hydrolock problems but I live in good old rainy London, England and have not had one problem in 2yrs. I shortly after went for a decat pipe (Test pipe) with anti fowler mod and about a week later went for an invidia catback exhaust. Sound wise I would say its the most talked about car amoungst my friends, specially when you hit VTEC! Good luck

You need to take that kind of thinking and go back to the drawing board. What's the point of a mod if you lose power AND efficiency.
Removing the stock airbox hurts power on a DYNO, that's the only proof I've seen. If you're moving, with airflow directed towards the filter, I don't think it will be as bad. Have fun changing/cleaning your filter every oil change.
Personally, I like the AEM CAI, Frankenstein version.

ARC is a bling intake, now don't get me wrong its very good, but some people say it will heat soak...
the best intakes are the mugen and j's hands down...
the stock unit is very well, i will be keeping mine for a while and just might add a spoon snorkel...

IMO, on an S2k, I/H/E isn't worth the $$$ you spend for the power you gain/lose. The only thing I could see myself doing is the exhaust to get better sound, but that's just the ricer part of me thinking. If I were to mod the S2k, I'd go FI or stay stock.

He's right - Is very hard to get power out of them N/A - If you do it will be a small gain, but you will pay for it $$$$$$. Oh well I still can't drive a stock car

Like you mentioned, i guess dollar spent per mod, I/H/E for the gains is quite expensive. If I had the money, I'd do quality I/H/E with AEM EMS tuning. Prefer NA..
Nothing is cheap for these cars..

well you could be right, but you can never compare gains from NA to FI ofcouse you will always get more and cost you more with FI.at the same time NA is always more challeging and check out this site below to me it aint that bad at all.

I'm sure people have had impressive gains with N/A, but to me, it's not worth the time and money. If I were going to modify my S, it'd all go towards suspension and wheels/tires. But for now, I'm staying stock to stay in AS. Anyway, that's just me.
