Default Physical properties of the ECU

I searched, and found nothing of the sort of thing I wanted to find.

This is a quick question anyway..

Are there any physical properties on the ECU to determine if it's for an AT or a MT.

The wrecked donor car I got the JDM engine from ran fine with the ECU (hit 8k and pulled hard past 5500), but I need to know if he butched the harness to make it run, or just had the right ECU in the first place.

Thanks for the quick info.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by pgmfi.com &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> I got an ECU out of a 1994 Prelude SI with a 1.6 DOHC and it has a PK3-A00 and it also has the OKI 66911 MCU and external 256Kbit PROM, plus has the 74HC373 -- sloopy - 16 May 2005

</TD></TR></TABLE>

Wasn't aware preludes came with a 1.6

I'll keep looking around the site for information on how to tell if my ECU is from a manual car or an auto car. Unless someone can just tell me.

EDIT: Just found something..

Thanks.

****.. I wonder how he got it to work with a manual trans.. Is there some easy way to rewire this to make it work?

Anybody around seattle want to trade a manual ECU for an auto ECU?

Actually figured out that said ECU will work with manual trans. At least it did in the swap in the previous car. Nothing was changed. Will keep all filled in if auto trans can be used in manual cars.
