Default Differnces between D15 and D16..

My wife blew the motor in our 94 DX. Guy I know has a non vtec D16 out of an odb2 car. Is it an easy swap? the motor is free....

Searched around a bit, but didn't come up with anything definite.

yeah its a direct bolt in, just swap over the intake manifold, alternator, just run the obd1 ecu and youll be good, i would get a p28 and chip it with the basemaps and timing from the d16y7

couldnt you just get the entire swap and run the y7 ecu with a obd2->obd1 harness?

why would you want to do that?, the stock ecu will run the engine fine if he wanted to go that route, but it will run a little lean if he did that...p28's are cheap and plentiful, and easy to chip
