Default Transmission questions???????

I have a B16a with a hydraulic tranny. The transmission housing is cracked. I am looking for an LS tranny cause I have heard they are good for turbo. Is that right? Will my exedy clutch and act flywheel form my b16a tranny work in an LS tranny. They are both hydraulic.

ok....the LS tranny has longer gearing, so you will be in each gear longer then you would w/ the b16 tranny.....just depends what you like. As far as axles, clutch, and flywheel.....as long as it's b-series it will be alright.

Everything is interchangeable between the trannies, clutch, flywheel, axles and what not. I have heard that the LS too is better for boost cuz of the longer gear ratios.
