Buying a Honda 600f4i questions
I am looking to purchase a 06 f4i. Was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on what a decent price would be. This will be my 2nd bike, and I want to be able to go into the cycle shop with some information on what a good price would be.
Also, I would like to use it for riding with 2 people, is this bike comfy enough for 2 to ride maybe 1-2 hours together at a time? Any other comments from people who have experience with this bike would be great.

I have an 03 F4i, with the split seats. The bike is plenty comfortable for me on long rides. I've ridden 8 hours at a time before and never felt fatigue. The longest i've ridden with a passenger though was maybe an hour. She complained about constantly having to hold herself up with her hands, and anytime there was deceleration i got uncomfortable pushing her weight off me. But, the 06 model has that nice grab bar on the back, maybe if she's comfortable holding onto that instead of you it'll make things more comfortable.
I know on my friends VFR people love holding onto the side handles on the back there.

Great information. I have also been reading up on the rr. What are the main differences? I was talking to one of the sales people on the phone and they said its mainly cosmetic. I dont really like the way the seat is on the f4i. I like having split seat. How much did you pay for your 03 if you dont mind me asking.

i personnaly dont own a 600rr but i here there not a very comfortable bike and I heard alot of riders look for a new seat. I have understood the f4i as more of a stunt bike whereas the rr is ligthter, closer gears, and a bit more power and more of a race bike.

im no expert, but id have to say that one of the main differences is riding position.
the rr has a more aggressive riding position. where the f4i has a more relaxed position.
the rr is more track oriented. the seat is harder.
the f4i is more of a daily driver. the seat is softer (compared to the rr)

Thanks guys. The bike will be ridden almost everyday, so comfort is a high priority. I am not to worried about power and handling, because this is the first bike I will be getting that is a sport type. I have been riding the Suzuki Bandit for a couple years and I want to make a move to something that goes a little quicker, and can take me to the next level of riding.
