Need a Y8 crank pulley not the Z6 one already have a z6 pulley Y8 is bigger. Will also take a Y7 if it is the same size as a Y8.

i got one you can have for 20 shipped yes the z6 and y8 are different...i was in the opposite situation as you lol make sure you have the y8 timing belt cover too

 

Why would you need a Y8 timing belt cover??? Anyways already found one and it fits great on the A6 no need for a timing belt cover off a Y8. Thanks Celtic!

which water pump did you use?......the y8 water pump has a huge counterweight that hits the z6 timing belt cover. but if you got a water pump with no counterweight like the z6 then i guess it would be fine...seems like something else didnt fit right too though. oh well.
