Oil Light Blinking
'93 Accord LX, 125,000. This morning the oil light started blinking. When I stop, the light is on but not blinking until I accelerate. Have checked the oil level and it is fine. Ran the car 30 miles or so and the temp gauge was normal. Any ideas?
Either you've a wire shorting to ground as your car moves around or
The oil pickup in the pan is being clogged with sludge or
The oil return holes in the head are clogged with sludge, and the oil is steying up on top too long and the pump is starving.
If you pull the oil filler cap , look in and see black; you've got sludge
it should be the color of gold anodized aluminum.

First, I'd confirm I had a sludge buildup problem b4 I did anything. Because if it is a sludge problem, it's a pretty heavy deposit and would most likely require mechanical removal; as opposed to using chemicals.
I would also check that the bottom of the oil pan wasn't dented upward from a strike from either a parking lot curb, or road debris. It could also starve the oil pump if the pan bottom is crushed up against the oil pump pickup.
For Sludge build-up:
The quickest way, as I mentioned earlier, was to look into the top of the head thru the oil filler hole. The second easiest is to take the valve cover completely off and inspect the area.
If you do have a sludge build-up problem, it will require very careful cleaning in the head area (that you don't have loose chunks of this stuff falling into the oil drain passages). The oil pan would also require cleaning out as well.
