lx specs?
Hey my friend has a 2000 lx civic and i was trying to find out some specs about his engine i read that its a sohc 2.2 liter engine with vtec is that right? i thought it was a 1.6 liter engine sohc?? also can some one tell me the type of engine it has? thanks!

d16y7 sohc non-vtec.
look at the engine, does it have a weird intake that looks similar to the 88-91 civic's DPFI intake? If so than it is a d16y7. Of course you can read the engine code to be certain.
