Default Civic stalls once warmed up...

All right,

My father in laws 1993 Civic DX (stock everything) idles fine when cold, and drives fine. As soon as the temperature gauge starts to creep up and its idling (or loss of power while driving), it starts to miss and eventually stalls.

We’ve replaced the main relay, tried a new coil and ignitor. The problem persists.

Any other ideas?

Cool, thanks.

Here's hoping it's the same component as the one in the 92-95 Integra distributor.

It may also be your IACV. Your cold idle valve may be holding the idle high, keeping the car running, but once it warms up, your IACV controls the idle.

I should have added that once it stalls, it won't restart until it has cooled down, it just cranks over and doesn't fire.

Replaced the 3 ignitor control modules, so far looks like the problem has been solved! WOOT WOOT!
