Whats the deal with my plugs & wires? Pics attached.
The plugs have only been used for 2500km.
From left to right, the plugs from cyc #1 & #2 is identical. But #3 seem to have coroded, where as #4 is totally rusted.
Also the #4 wire is covered with yellowish dust which I have no idea what's causing it.

The metal gaskets are still intact, just the corrided so badly from the moisture that you couldn't tell.
I still wonder how water could get in like that. Yes I have washed engine bay before, but it would be pretty hard for the water to leak under the plug wire cover then go in again from the wire cap and leak down the plugs.

it probably pooled up under the plug cover, then slowly dripped in there, you probably were on a slant to the driver side of your car when you did it, judging from the fact that cyls #1&2 have the rust, #1 being the worst...
the best way to clean the bay is to just do it with a rag....well thats the safest way at least....

for sure.
Regardless, they should all be replaced at this point. would you want to put that rusted POS plug back into your good head ? You got big bucks in that motor, why skimp out on plugs and wires ? and why shoot water into the engine bay???
Get some simple green on a rag and go to town. If the VC is that dirty, pull it off and really douse it in simple green.
Also, check the coil wire. It could be corroded as well.

Don't get me wrong, the plugs/wires are gonna be changed in no time.
Its just that I need to talk to the shop, because im still unsure whether its me or them who washed the engine bay after the rebuilt w/o proper drying. Ive been following up with them regarding the bogging issue, this findings definitely explain the problem.
