Distributor Hell!!!!!!
Im having lots of dizzy problems. So just finish swapping a ls motor into a ef hatch converted it to obd1. All is goin well starts right up. Then we get a code 8 which is tdc code. so check the resistance at all the wires all checks out both at the dizzy side and the ecu side. Swap distributors now we get a code 9 not a code 8. So is it possible we have 2 bad distributors i have checked the wiring over and over again. The resistance is good at both ends of the harness? Im stumped on this one and any help would be great

You can't install late model honda/acura dizzy's backwards, they only go in one way.
More than likey its a wire that was overlooked or put in the wrong spot.

yea, im gonna check them all again tomorow I dont understand how having a wire wrong could cause a diffrent code with diffrent dizzy's? could the female end of the dizzys be diffrent?

well, i figured it out and come to find out the damn conversion harness was wrong. So if you are using a boomslang conversion harness be prepared for problems
