Default Steering Vibration on Highway

Hello guys long time, lately my 97R who is getting up in the miles (135,xxx miles and counting)while highway driving between ohh 60-70mph and above but I rarely go past 75mph,when I turn the wheel to the right I get alot of vibration in the sterring wheel an threw out the car for that matter,Im not really sure what this could be,I so plan on taking it tto Acura to get some other bugs worked out of her,but i just like an idea of what to tell them.

P.S. I am looking for a stock set of ITR Springs if anyone has any laying around

A few months ago but its hard to get a decent alignment on a lowered car around here.Kinda why Im looking for a stock set of springs, the car was lowered when I got it back in '02 now its really getting on my nerves.

Could be many things but I would start with the simplest and cheapest first... Wheel balancing, rotate tires aslo while off check the tires for cord damage and proper tread wear.
Then suspension parts that worked loose or broken.

My guess too. If you turn the wheel to full lock in either directions do you hear clicking noises?

had that problem solve. none of the above will solve it. time for axle change. or do what i did follow all this suggestion and at the end. it will be your axle.

can't be SO sure on that, there's de finately 5-6 things it could be... can't really see a bad axle throwing his car all over the place

I used to feel vibration in the steering wheel also when I get in "highway speed" tuned out to be a bad axle ( CV joint )

i had the same problem for the longest time as well... rebalanced all the wheels.. had the car up in the air and checked all the tie rods... finally narrowed it down to a bent axle... i hated driving it past 60mph because it would shake the **** outta the wheel... but now its fixed and im happy im gonna upgrade to a new steering wheel here soon.. the stock steering wheel feels old and out dated

If you have another set of wheels and tires, or if you know someone who does, swap them and go for a test drive. That will tell you whether it's something in the wheels/tires (e.g. wheel balance) or something in the rest of the car (e.g. alignment, wheel bearings).
