Default shaking when breaking

ok whenever i hit the breaks i feel shaking, well its really only when i have to break hard or if i am over 40 mph really. i figured it was the rotors so i asked around and everyone told me the same thing. so i changer the pads and rotors. and now it is still doing it. what could it be if it is not the rotors?

Could be a wheel bearing or loose parts, or bolts. Just inspect everything thoughly becuase there is not much it can be.

Mine was doing it as a result of one of the pins on the caliper not sliding smoothly... I'd pull those out and regrease everything, after doing that my problem went away.
